The Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers appointed two new executives to its board of directors and elected four officers at their annual meeting. The AFCCE advocates for proper federal regulation affecting communications engineers and aids in educating engineers.
Jon Edwards, lead engineer at CityScape Consultants in Atlanta, GA, and Chris Horne, a consulting engineer at Comspec Corp. in Greensboro, NC, were appointed to AFCCE’s board of directors. Edwards and Horne join Marshall Cross, Steve Crowley, Mark Fehlig and David Layer, the other members of the board.
While at the AFCCE annual meeting in Estes Park, CO, on June 23–26 the new board of directors voted in Bob Weller as president (he was formerly the vice president), John Lyons as vice president (formerly a regular serving board member) and newly appointed member Chris Horne as secretary. Ron Chase will continue his tenure as treasurer.
