Broadcast owner NextMedia said it finished its fiscal year with an “improving” outlook for radio and a strong performance from its outdoor division.
Same-station radio revenue for the year was off by a fraction of a percentage point. Overall, the company said, its net revenue for the year was up about 17 percent to $107 million. For the fourth quarter, revenue was up around 12%.
Executive Chairman Carl Hirsch and President/CEO Steven Dinetz released the numbers.
The company, based in Denver, has 60 stations in 15 markets; 6,200 bulletin and poster displays; and advertising displays in 3,000 retail locations.
