American General Media, owner of 28 stations in half a dozen markets, has settled on Specialty Data Systems’ Symphony broadcast management system for corporate-wide integration.
Previously each market had its own independent system. The supplier quoted AGM Chief Financial Officer Margaret Nuanez saying the company’s goal was greater efficiency at both a market and corporate level.
She said processes are now done automatically without the need to manually import and export data.
SDS Symphony can handle sales, traffic, ops, programming and accounting. SDS President David Cole the system’s two-way flow of data allows for faster implementation, and reduces redundancies and costs.
