AIR Is Hunting for Talent in Radio Production

Grants will range up to $40,000.

The Association of Independents in Radio is looking for a few good radio producers, or rather a few imaginative radio producers. AIR has grant money for the lucky few.

The program is called Public Radio Makers Quest 2.0 (MQ2.0). It is taking nominations of “forward-thinking audio producers who are embracing new technologies and reshaping programming to fit new media platforms.”

Grants will range from $20,000 to $40,000, with a total of $400,000.

Nominations will be screened by a committee made up of radio and arts professionals. Nominations must be made by Oct. 31.
