Aldena has released a new module for its Emlab electromagnetic field calculation software. The Multi-Coverage module enables the simultaneous simulation of as many as 100 transmitting stations without any geographic limitation.

With the module, it is possible to calculate and design the overall coverage of several radiating systems in a certain area, to verify existing radiating systems and to assess the effectiveness of a new one, as well as to calculate the interference of different analog signals in the area.

Multi-Coverage also will calculate the number of inhabitants reached by different levels of signal and the geographical coverage, measured in square kilometers.

In addition, the new Emlab module allows the user to calculate the best server for each point in a geographic area, to apply any variation to the antenna project — tilt, phase, bearing — and, at the same time, assess the interference or the whole coverage area of several radiating systems.
