Inergize Digital, a provider of Internet new media services for broadcasters, has announced a “rebranded and redesigned” Seek It Local service.
Seek It Local is an online local business Web search service designed for use by radio stations on a market-exclusive basis.
Inergize Digital GM and Senior Vice President Jason Gould said: “Increasing numbers of consumers are researching products and services online before purchasing, making it impossible for stations and local businesses to ignore the marketing power of the Internet.”
Gould tied the service into radio advertising: “Using Seek It Local, stations have a unique opportunity to increase revenue by leveraging the power of on-air commercial spots and the Internet.”

RadioTime says its Local Radio feature detects a listener's location and displays local AM/FM radio stations and programs, making it easier for people to browse and listen to local programming on PCs or streamed to wireless Internet radio devices.
