The fall Radio Show has snagged Christiane Amanpour for an appearance at the convention. Now the question becomes, whom is she being brought in to interview?
There’s no shortage of possible candidates right in Washington, NAB’s back yard, where the convention comes this year. But we’d be speculating …
Known for her work on CNN, Amanpour is the incoming anchor of “This Week with Christiane Amanpour” on ABC News.
The NAB said she will “conduct a newsmaker interview in an intimate Q&A session” on Friday Oct. 1 during the Radio Luncheon. The association hasn’t said who the interviewee will be.
The 2010 Radio Show is co-produced this year by the Radio Advertising Bureau and the NAB. Her TV show begins Aug. 1 and will be heard as well on ABC News Radio.
