Emmis station WIBC(AM) in Indianapolis credits Amber Alerts for helping Indiana State Police capture a Pennsylvania 18-year-old wanted in the abduction of a 14-year-old and the shooting deaths of her parents.
WIBC News quoted state police as saying the suspect was captured as a result of a nationwide Amber Alert. A truck driver listening to the information on WIBC(AM) spotted the suspect and alerted authorities, leading to an arrest.
