Amb-OS Plans to Take Receiver International

Christian partnership also offers discounting to mark first anniversary of its receiver

A Christian radio alliance is noting the first anniversary of its new radio programming receiver.

Ambassador Advertising Agency and Focus on the Family launched the AMR-100 receiver last year.

“Twelve months after the switch-over, there are now over 600 radio stations and networks utilizing the option to receive over 230 broadcasts and seven live streams via the Amb-OS unit,” Amb-OS Media stated. Radio World profiled the effort in December.

Amb-OS President Jim Sanders says the organization plans to market the unit internationally soon. “This will not only serve ministries better as they continue to expand to other countries, but it will better serve remote stations who do not have satellite access.”

The partnership said it is offering stations a discount right now in connection with the anniversary. It invited queries via its Web site.
