A content provider is increasing its offerings aimed at HD2/HD3 channels.
American Media Services-Internet says its Network Division debuted 20 online “multichannel” formats for broadcasters to stream locally branded content to their online and HD Radio audiences. The company, in its promotion, positions the formats as suitable content for multicast channels.
Each is programmed as a turnkey system, with a library of music, custom-written and voiced liners and IDs. Broadcasters can begin transmitting a multichannel “HD2” or “HD3” radio broadcast or incorporate a range of online stations into their Web sites.
The formats include ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s Soul Gold; ‘80s and ‘90s Country Gold; Big Band Music; Blue Jean Country; The British Invasion; The Chill Lounge; eRockabilly; Give Me the Hits; The Jazz Cave; Millennium Country; Nashville Crossing; Smooth Country; Soft Jazz Café; Southern Soul Hits; The Surf Channel; The Troubadour; and Xtreme Rock.
