…And CBS Radio News Adds Podcasts

CBS Radio News said it will provide some of its programs to affiliates for podcasting or web site use.
“The goal is to give our stations new and additional ways to connect with listeners,” it quoted Harvey Nagler, CBS News VP for radio. Content will include “The CBS Weekend Roundup,” “What’s in the News” with Christopher Glenn; “Wired Magazine,” “Entertainment Report with People magazine’s Lisa Karlin” and other content.
CBSNews.com will make certain CBS Radio News programs available in podcast form. The site now carries audio from programs with Harry Smith and Larry Magid.
Affiliates will access the podcast material via a website.
