“The Rest of the Story” celebrates 30 years on the air today, May 10. ABC Radio Networks honors Paul Harvey Jr. at an event in Chicago. He created and produced the legendary short-form, anecdotal program, which is voiced by his dad. It airs six days a week and is heard on 1,100 stations with an estimated 15 million listeners weekly.
“Rarely in the history of media has a single program touched the lives of as many people as ‘The Rest of the Story;” said Jim Robinson, president of ABC Radio Networks, in the announcement.
