Andrew Combines Antenna, Cable Groups as Part of Satellite Move

Andrew Corp. has created a product group focused on satellite communications, while combining antennas and cable products into one organization.
Paul Cox, former president of the Antenna Group, will serve as president of the Satellite Communications Group, which has annual sales of about $175 million. John DeSana, former president of the Cable Products Group, is president of the newly combined Antenna and Cable Products Group, with annualized sales of approximately $800 million.
The company said this move would help it focus on a “rapidly growing” market for satellite communications infrastructure.
