Andrew Gets Channel Master Assets

Andrew Corp. has acquired some of the assets of bankrupt Channel Master LLC and its subsidiaries for about $18 million. Channel Master makes antenna products for VSAT, consumer DBS and television accessory markets.
“The combination of assets in small satellite antennas will enable Andrew to be a major player in the satellite communications market,” a company official said.
