The Andrew Corp. board elected Gerald A. Poch as non-executive chairman.
This follows the retirement of former chairman Charles R. Nicholas, who did not seek reelection. Poch has been an independent director on the board since 2002. He is a managing director of Pequot Capital Management Inc. and senior managing general partner of the Pequot Capital Management Venture and Private Equity Funds since 1998.
