The list of top Internet broadcasters was relatively stable in September, according to Arbitron. The top five Net broadcasters and sales networks, ranked by time spent listening, remained AOL Radio@Network, Launch, MusicMatch, the Adsertion Network and Virgin Radio.
Even though it reported problems in its server data that depressed its performance, AOL continued to far outstrip the competition, with 26 million hours of total TSL, compared to 15.7 million for second-ranked Launch.
New in the top 10 is the noncommercial Educational Media Foundation, ranked seventh.
Among individual stations, MusicMatch Artist Match was the top non-commercial Internet broadcast station; AOL Top Country was the leading commercial station.
Of the top 50 stations in Arbitron’s rankings in September, 29 are affiliated with AOL.
