Aphex Wins Order From ESPN Radio

Nine remote-controlled microphone preamplifiers will go into studios in Bristol, Conn., home of ESPN Radio.
Aphex Systems said ESPN has ordered nine of its Model 1788 preamps. The manufacturer also reported a sale of three units to Tokyo Broadcast.
President Marvin Caesar said the 1788 is finding a surge of popularity after being on the market for about five years.
