Nearly two-dozen committee members from across the industry have been selected to review applications for scholarship funds to the RAB Training Academy. Applications are now being accepted for the RAB/BMI FastStart To Radio Sales Success Minority Scholarship Program.
Members of the selection committee have been picked from those with an interest in enhancing the ethnic and cultural diversity of the industry. Twenty-five recipients of BMI-funded scholarships for the RAB Radio Training Academy in Dallas will be selected. Applications will be reviewed late this month. Scholarships will be awarded based on various criteria including ethnicity of the applicant, overall need, applicant’s enthusiasm toward a career in radio sales and recommendations from professional associates.
