APT has opened a new office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The company says it has seen increased demand from the South American market for its IP audio networking solutions.
“The new office in Rio will serve as a base for us to deliver sales and support to our rapidly expanding customer base and reflects our commitment to the region and its broadcasters,” stated Jon McClintock, the president of worldwide sales.
“Establishing key offices in emerging markets is part of our continuing growth strategy.” He said the company now has 60 employees in eight countries with additional regional offices planned.
Jonathan Corkey will head the Brazilian office and is responsible for growing APT’s South American operations. He brings pro audio experience to the position, having worked as managing director of Myriad Media.
