Saying it has reaffirmed its commitment to the Latin American market, Arbitron has launched syndicated radio audience measurement services in Monterrey, its third radio market in Mexico. In the past year, it has begun measuring Mexico City and Guadalajara.
“Arbitron has signed long-term commitments with Grupo Radio México, Grupo Radio Centro and ACIR that include all three markets, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey,” the company stated. “These broadcasters operate seven stations in Monterrey.”
Several national ad agencies and media buyers extended their contracts to include Monterrey. The first quarterly syndicated report will be out in February.
