Arbitron eBook Debuts

Arbitron eBook Debuts

Is it still “the book” if you don’t get it on paper?
For the Spring 2006 survey, Arbitron said, it will debut its eBook, an electronic replacement for printed Radio Market Reports. Arbitron’s last printed market reports were for Winter 2006.
The company says the eBook will have a similar look and feel but will reach programmers faster, on the first day of the delivery schedule and hours after the Arbitrends in four-book markets.
Stations that have purchased Arbitron’s “Advances” service will no longer have this expense; the eBook replaces Advances. The whole report also delivers at once, not just selected demos or dayparts.
The ratings company touts the eBook for the ease of access to data and the option to import market info into presentations and documents.
