Arbitron Has PPM Price Proposals to Stations

Arbitron CEO Steve Morris said that while his company is disappointed Nielsen decided not to partner with Arbitron to deploy its Portable People Meter system, the decision was not unexpected.
Arbitron has contract proposals out to several stations that would include an increase over their current contracts with Arbitron of roughly 40% to 60% for a radio-only PPM system, a spokesman confirmed.
