Arbitron is making some of its 2010 Client Conference and Urban PD Clinic available online to all clients.
The Urban PD Clinic is on Dec. 7, and the Arbitron Client Conference is on Dec. 8; they precede the Jacobs Media Summit on the 9th. All of the events are in Baltimore at the Hyatt Regency.
Noting that it’s difficult for some people to travel in December, Arbitron is offering portions of its events online.
Agenda highlights include more insights from the “Goin’ Mobile” Arbitron-Jacobs Media study that documents the relationship of 18-to-49-year-old consumers and their smartphones. This edition will feature previously unseen videos that highlight consumer response to the PPM. Among speakers are Jon Coleman on Debunking the Myths of PPM, Larry Rosin on the American Youth Study 2010 and Deb Esayian from Emmis Interactive on social media and radio.
The virtual conference will be archived for 90 days for Arbitron clients.
At the Jacobs Media Summit, Consumer Electronics Association President/CEO Gary Shapiro will share his thoughts on the radio in cellphone issue and also discuss the future of media and technology and what radio can look forward to. Former radio programming consultant Lee Abrams, most recently chief innovation officer for Tribune, is slated to appear as well as several other speakers.
