Arbitron, Johns Hopkins R & D

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory will provide research and development expertise to Arbitron’s audience measurement technology, especially the Portable People Meter, now being tested in the Wilmington, Del. radio market.
Under the agreement with Arbitron, the APL will apply its expertise in acoustics, radio frequency technologies as well as reliability testing it has gained from its work with NASA and the Department of Defense.
