Arbitron has chosen Monica Narvaez to fill the role of Hispanic Broadcaster Account Specialist. In this newly created position, she will focus on strengthening the partnerships Arbitron maintains with its Hispanic broadcasting customers.
She will be responsible for “promoting the power of Spanish-language radio, generating solutions to help address Hispanic radio group needs and developing programs for Spanish radio group training initiatives,” according to the company.
Narvaez specializes in providing Hispanic media insights and training for Spanish-language radio broadcasters. She also leads Arbitron’s promotion of Spanish-language radio and its value for advertisers.
Narvaez has worked with programmers, on-air talent, market managers, corporate management and sales executives at Arbitron for 10 years. She was directly involved in the launch of the Portable People Meter for Hispanic radio markets in the western United States.
Prior to her work at Arbitron, Narvaez was a web trainer for Nielsen, working with TV station research directors and sales executives using Scarborough Research.
