Five new members have been elected to Arbitron’s Radio Advisory Council.
The council provides a forum for communication between Arbitron and its client radio stations. The five new members include: Neysa Hinton, KMHX(FM), Santa Rosa, Calif., to represent Adult Contemporary, non-Continuous markets; Steve Goldstein, WLZR(FM), Milwaukee-Racine, Wis., to represent AOR – continuous markets; Val Garris, WAOA(FM) Melbourne-Titusville-Cocoa, Fla., to represent CHR/Top 40 – non-Continuous markets; Earnest James, KFRC(AM/FM) San Francisco, Calif., will represent Gold/Oldies – all markets and Susan Ali Shepherd, KSOL(FM)/KZOL(FM), San Francisco, will represent Hispanic stations– all markets.
David Pearlman, senior vice president, Infinity Radio, will serve as chairman of the council for 2002. Tom Skinner, general manager, KZST(FM), Santa Rosa, Calif. will serve as vice-chairman. RAB President/CEO Gary Fries, New York City, was re-appointed representative-at-large.
