The Arbitron Co. has released its Radio Station Information Profiles Database. Information can be accessed at Arbitron’s Web site at www.arbitron.com
The database contains station names, calls, broadcast times, frequencies, formats, programs, on-air personalities and addresses for all Arbitron-measured stations. The site also includes scheduled dates for mailing Arbitron Station Information forms and Station Name Previews for upcoming surveys, information on ways listeners identify stations in Arbitron diaries and details on how Arbitron utilizes station profile information.
According to the company, The Radio Advisory Council requested Arbitron create a way for stations to be able to look at their own profiles along with profiles of competitors.
