Arbitron to Start Trading On New York Stock Exchange Monday

Arbitron will mark its new status as an independent, publicly traded company by ringing the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange this Friday. Arbitron stock will begin trading on the NYSE next Monday.
Arbitron has been a division of the Ceridian Corp. for nearly four decades. Now, they are two separate companies.
As an independent company, Arbitron believes that it will be better able to develop its Portable People Meter and Internet Radio Ratings technologies.
