Armstrong Lab Honored

The New York Daily News reports that the Columbia University lab where Edwin Howard Armstrong developed FM radio technology has been given National Historic Landmark status.
His house in Yonkers, which had been similarly listed years ago, was demolished in 1983, according to the National Park Service’s landmark Web site.
