U.S. radio continues to produce revenue increases in only the low single digits.
Halfway through 2004, the commercial radio industry’s revenue was up 3% compared to last year’s performance, according to the Radio Advertising Bureau.
Local sales numbers increased 4% for January through June, while national revenue crept up 1%.
Radio revenue in the month of June alone also was up 3%.
