Tips for wireless users are on the docket at the NAB Show. Mark Donovan, a sales engineer for Audio-Technica’s Installed Sound division, is helming several sessions titled “SpectraPulse Wireless Technology for Broadcast Applications.”
Donovan is examining such things as navigating a crowded RF environment, being aware of interference problems (potential or actual), operating a quality wireless system and building a useful wireless mic system even at a broadcast facility.
A-T also is hosting Dr. Fred Ginsburg and a series of short seminars on mic techniques for the commercial, video and film industries. Joining Ginsburg for “Microphone Techniques for DSLR Cameras” will be A-T’s own, always-entertaining Director of Educational Services Steve Savanyu.
Donovan and Ginsburg are appearing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Audio-Technica booth (C1717).
