IHeartRadio is now available as the first streaming radio app AT&T for U-verse TV customers on Channels 532/1532. It also requires customers to subscribe to U-verse High Speed Internet.
“Personalization is one of the key features of AT&T U-verse TV, so a highly-customizable app like iHeartRadio is a natural fit,” said GW Shaw, vice president of U-verse and video products, AT&T.
Customers can search for stations based on genre, location or keyword; from thousands of live radio stations from across the country; get personalized recommendations based on listening habits, location and musical preferences; and access a list of saved favorites and recently listened-to stations.
AT&T and iHeartMedia plan to add additional features to the app later this year, including custom stations, song lyrics, artist biographies, stations “Perfect For” any mood or activity and podcasts.
U-verse offers customers more than 30 interactive apps that can be accessed by pressing “Interactive” on the U-verse TV remote.
