Audemat-Aztec is expanding and needs another manufacturing plant.
The company purchased the lot next to its existing facility in Mérignac, France, and is planning a separate facility of 850 square meters, increasing its available space by 50 percent.
The new plant will comply with the ISO 14000 environmental management standards, the company said.
The company says it has hired 25 employees since the beginning of this year, bringing its total close to 100 people; sales have increased from nearly €8.8 million in 2006 to a projected €14.1 million for 2007.
In the Americas, the company recently moved its Miami, Florida, office to a bigger building with a large warehouse for stock.
