Audemat-Aztec says it is expanding so it needs another manufacturing plant in Merignac, France.
It purchased the lot next to its existing facility and is planning a separate plant of 9,150 square feet, increasing its available space by 50 percent.
The new plant will comply with the ISO 14000 environmental management standards, the company said.
The company says it has hired 25 employees since the beginning of this year, bringing its total close to 100 people; sales have increased from nearly $12 million in 2006 to a projected $19 million for 2007.
Its Miami office recently moved to a bigger building with a large warehouse for stock.
