Audinate Racks up Partners

Technology developer approaching 150 partners

Audinate, developer of the Dante audio over IP technology, used the 2014 NAB Show as something of a coming out party.

It was able to point to numerous vendors at the show that were demonstrating equipment using or compatible with Dante. At the show Sennheiser announced compatibility.

It claims over 140 partners, including AEQ, Allen & Heath, Behringer, Calrec, DHD, DiGiCo, Electro-Voice, Focusrite, Glensound, Harman, Jünger Audio, Lectrosonics, PreSonus, RTS, Sierra Automated Systems, Shure, Solid State Logic, Sound Devices, Stategtec, Studio Technologies, Symetrix and Yamaha.

A release explains that Dante’s “ability to leverage existing IT network architectures and off-the-shelf switches also helps broadcasters increase routing flexibility while minimizing costs.” Audinate CEO Lee Ellison says, “Dante’s plug-and-play simplicity, along with its robust, redundant architectures offers broadcasters limitless opportunities to scale systems.”
