USB functionality is now part of the Audioarts Engineering Air-1, an eight-channel compact console from Wheatstone.
The company has added a USB audio I/O port.
“Now, this same small console will be able to send and receive audio from devices such as digital audio workstations, playout systems and automation systems,” the company stated in a pre-NAB Show announcement.
The console is suitable particularly for small studios and production rooms, remotes and Web streaming applications.
