AudioScience has released v5 of its Windows driver. The company says this latest update enhances compatibility and security to “ensure our products continue to meet evolving industry standards.”
Key updates include expanded hardware support, with the v5 driver now fully-supporting ASI575x Dante PCIe sound cards, and enhanced security compliance. AudioScience says v5 has been reengineered to include the latest tools from Microsoft to ensure compatibility with new Windows 11 security features — including “memory integrity” or Hypervisor-protected Code Integrity (HVCI).
This update is necessary for all customers who want to enable recent Microsoft Windows security features, said AudioScience in a press release. “We encourage all users with supported hardware to download and install the v5 driver to take advantage of these improvements.”
AudioScience recommends users uninstall the old driver prior to installing the new version.
