Audio-Technica Plays the Hall

Fifty mics are used for Rock Hall induction

Approximately 50 Audio-Technica microphones were used at the 24th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies recently held in Cleveland. Audio for the live broadcast and Internet feed was run by Music Mix Mobile.

Jay Vicari was music and broadcast mixer for the show.

Mics used by several of the all-star performers and inductees included Audio-Technica AEW-T5400 handheld wireless microphone/transmitter and AE5400 handheld condenser for singers and AE2500 (drums), ATM450 (piano), AE5100 (hi-hat, audience), ATM350 (toms, horns, strings), ATM250 (toms), AT4047/SV (guitar cabinets), AT4050 (overhead), ATM25 (toms) and AT4055 (horns).

Inductees included Jeff Beck, Little Anthony & the Imperials, Metallica, Run-D.M.C., Bobby Womack, Bill Black and Wanda Jackson.
