Virginia-based Avcom appointed Pat Piper to director of worldwide sales. Piper brings over 20 years of experience in the satellite industry to the position, including 16 years with Midwest Communications/Harris Broadcast designing, building and selling SNG trucks and Satellite Earth Stations. Additionally, he was sales manager for MCL & ETM selling satellite transmitters, and most recently served as satellite product manager for Richardson Electronics.
