The Avlex Corp. MX8-1RM mic/line mixer supports eight microphone-/line-level channels — each with volume and tone control.
Features of the 1 rackunit mixer include a master volume control and eight 48 V phantom-power DIP switches. The rear panel provides six channels with balanced XLR and quarter-inch TRS mic/line inputs, as well as two channels of RCA unbalanced line inputs and quarter-inch TRS balanced mic/line inputs.
The MX8-1RM can also be expanded to create a larger capacity mixing system by daisy-chaining multiple units.
Total harmonic distortion for the unit is less than 0.003%; signal-to-noise ratio is 106 dB; and frequency response ranges from 16 Hz to 22 kHz (–3 dB).
