American Women in Radio and Television celebrates the 31st Annual Gracie Allen Awards on June 19 at the New York Marriott Marquis. The event is scheduled to feature entertainers from radio, television and cable. The host and honorary chair is Megan Mullally of TV’s “Will & Grace.” New NAB President/CEO David Rehr is among those expected to attend.
Other names from the entertainment and news media industries scheduled to attend include Catherine Crier, anchor, Court TV; Ann Curry, anchor and correspondent, NBC News; Robert F. Kennedy Jr., author and environmentalist; Suze Orman, host, CNBC; and Brian Williams, anchor and managing editor, NBC News.
Tickets are $275 for AWRT members, $300 for non-members and $350 (if available) at the door.
