Axia Equips New IRN Facility

The sale included a 20-position Axia Element broadcast console, Axia Analog Line Nodes, PathfinderPC router control software and Axia iProbe network management software.

Radio syndication provider Information Radio Network (IRN) contracted Axia Audio to supply mixing and audio routing equipment for its new studios in Memphis, Tennessee.

The sale, completed by distributor Broadcasters General Store, included a 20-position Axia Element broadcast console, Axia Analog Line Nodes, PathfinderPC router control software and Axia iProbe network management software.

IRN distributes financial and religious talk programming via satellite to more than 700 U.S. radio stations daily.

The Axia IP-Audio system allows broadcasters to build audio networks of any size using standard switched Ethernet, with a total system capacity of more than 10,000 audio streams and an ability to carry hundreds of digital stereo channels over a single Cat6 cable.
