The first “on-the-road” presentation of Axia Audio’s “IP University” will be in Nashville Jan. 26, hosted by the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters.

The free workshop debuted at last year’s NAB and is for broadcast engineers who want to familiarize themselves with IP-Audio networks.

It is presented by Axia’s Kirk Harnack and Marc Johnson, both broadcast engineers. The company said “IP University” helps attendees understand why IP-Audio networks are suitable for modern, computer-centric studios and educates them with the knowledge to plan, implement and manage IP-Audio networks in a broadcast environment.

“IP University” takes place from 9 a.m. to noon at Film House Inc. For information, e-mail [email protected] or telephone Clark Novak at (216) 241-7225.
