Axia Audio has named D.A.V.I.D. Systems a development partner, the seventh delivery system provider it has signed. Clients of D.A.V.I.D. will be able to purchase Axia IP-Audio networking components bundled with and customized for their systems.
Axia will provide its IP-Audio Driver software to D.A.V.I.D. The technology allows any audio workstation PC running the Windows operating system to send studio-grade audio to an Axia audio network from its network interface card, bypassing the need for PC soundcards. Axia also said the two companies are working to develop deeper integration, including enhanced support for GPIO messaging control in their version of the IP-Audio Driver.
The announcement was made by Axia President Michael Dosch and D.A.V.I.D. Systems President Richard Doll.
