Axia Updates Windows Driver

Tweaks and improvements for IP audio systems

Axia Audio has announced the release of an updated Axia IP-Audio Driver for Windows.

Version introduces “introduces improvements such as distinct profile and Autorun setting support for multiple Windows users, performance enhancements for users running WDM-mode audio drivers, and stability fixes to eliminate startup errors when loading instances with large I/O tables.”

There are two versions available — a “standard” version with one stereo output and one stereo input along with an OEM version available from Axia’s delivery system partners. The OEM version provides up to 24 bidirectional stereo channels with GPIO. Windows 32-bit and 64-bit systems are supported.

The update is free to licensed users here.
