Axia Audio reports that it has sold 2,000 units of its xNode IP-Audio Interface.
That’s in the first year of shipping, since it was introduced at the 2012 NAB Show.
The company’s Marty Sacks announced the benchmark, adding: “The industry is moving rapidly toward completely networked facilities, but until the day when every broadcast audio device has an Ethernet jack, stations will need devices to translate traditional analog and digital audio in to routable networked audio.”
The xNodes serve that function.
The company will exhibit at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, booth C3007.
