Event ticket service AXS has announced a partnership with Internet audio streamer Rdio to provide a free Rdio trial for ticket buyers. The trial will be a 30-day trial that, if continued, can be billed through AXS.
A release highlights that the trial “enables concert goers to hear their favorite songs anytime, anywhere even before the concert starts – on mobile phones, on the web, in some cars and on Internet-connected TVs and wireless speakers.”
AXS CEO Bryan Perez said, “AXS has always been about more than just ticketing. Our goal is to provide technologies that unify every aspect of the event experience and Rdio’s superior user experience and deep catalog will allow AXS.com users to easily find and listen to their favorite music, discover new artists they might want to see live, and help us alert them to events by their favorite artists.”
