Jay Batista has left Harris Corp. The former vice president of sales and marketing will pursue other opportunities, according to the company. A search is underway to fill his position. The company did not comment on the reasons for his departure, and Batista could not be reached immediately for comment.
Batista joined Harris in 2000 as vice president of worldwide sales for the Broadcast Communications Division. He came to the company from Adaptive Broadband Corp. and had worked earlier for Wegener Communications, Allied Broadcast Equipment and several broadcast stations, according to the press release issued at that time.
