Bayliss Names Brown’s Roasters

The John Bayliss Broadcast Foundation has named its roasters for the upcoming Annual Bayliss Radio Roast.
The event honors Clarke Brown of Jefferson-Pilot Communications. The event raises money for scholarships for college and university students who plan to work in radio. It takes place March 16 in New York
Roasters include Jeff Dashev, president of Interep’s Sales Division; director and screenwriter Hugh Wilson; Infinity’s Chad Brown, the roastee’s son; broadcast personality and comedian Jerry Farber; Emmis Communications chairman Jeff Smulyan; and Jefferson-Pilot executive Don Benson.
The foundation is discounting ticket prices for purchases through this Saturday.
