The Broadcasting Board of Governors will meet on Oct. 23 at its headquarters in Washington, starting at 9:15 a.m.
On its agenda is reform of the board’s committee structure (including establishment of special committees on a chief executive officer and on shortwave), examination of the boards of directors of BBG-funded grantee networks, BBG travel policy and proposed 2014 meeting dates.
A closed session to consider appointment of a general counsel is also scheduled.
The meeting is open to the public though registration is required. It will also be streamed and available later as a podcast.
